Job Description

The Energyamp; Process Solutions (EPS) and Water Technologies Solutions Poseidon (WTSP) businesses within Veolia Water Technologiesamp; Solutions (“VWTS quot;) are broadening their product offering, which involves significant focus on pre-Engineered equipment/systems, and geographical /market segment growth. To support this important growth initiative the businesses are applying their legacy expertise in produced water and wastewater treatment as it relates to energy oilamp; gas, pulpamp; paper, and Foodamp; beverage industries. In particular EPS and WTSP deliver equipment for solids and oil separation from water(hydrocyclones, induced flotation, nutshell filters), Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) and Oil / water separators. Presently, EPS provides proposals and sales support to its global customer base from its offices in Australia and the UAE, whilst WTSP supports its customers from Quebec, Canada. To better address the American Markets (NAM and LAM), a dedicated resource is required to service the internal customer interface – to provide technical advice and design selections, to maintain price structures, to produce commercial proposals, and to support technical commercial discussions with customers.The Processamp; Proposals Engineer is responsible for holding process expertise and the development of proposals for the sale of the EPS’s portfolio of pre-Engineeredamp; WTSP’s Technologies and Products. The role receives enquiries from commercial leaders within the VWTS business, and shall deliver high quality, competitive commercial proposals within an efficient timeframe. The role will organize / manage the necessary tools and data required to support a high volume of offers for the nominated Technology and Products, enabling the commercial leaders to build engagement with a market that is premised on fast turnaround and fit for purpose equipment. The role will be responsible for promptly identifying if the opportunity fits into the respective product portfolio, and if not direct that opportunity to the Capital Project (Designamp; Build) team. The P amp;PE will receive technical training and is expected to become expert in the field of separation and flotation technologies and equipment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for EPS PE Systemsamp; WTSP proposal generation, with a primary focus on delivering
  • commercial offers in response to Internal Customer and Channel Partner RFQ’s.
  • Execute business development goals to meet and/or exceed the sales target.
  • Strong focus on market coverageamp; gap assessment, building new strategic accounts and to
  • quickly build channel partner / sub-supplier relationships.
  • Support the Growth of market share for the EPS PE Systemsamp; WTSP Technologies and Products
  • portfolio working with Channel Partners.
  • Comply with VWTS Ethics Charter and business courtesy policies in all business dealings:
  • internally and externally.
  • Participate in operating rhythms necessary to support operations and growth.
  • Coordinate with Capital Project Execution and/or Service sales teams where necessary to position
  • VWTS for the best chance to win.
  • Successfully work in a matrix environment, including domestic/regional sales teamsamp; interfacing
at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Actively listen to customers/market needs and provide effective technical service to resolve issues
and inquiries.
  • Support growth by continuously creating and selling customer value propositions, geographical
coverage, meeting End User/OEMs (Independent Channels), Distributors and Value-AddedResellers (Branded Channels) for assigned territories.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to customers using VWTS technology to solve identified
treatment and processing needs, whether for Produced Water, Wastewater, Oil or Gasapplications.
  • Work with the Sales Manager to develop a plan to effectively meet sales targets by meeting or
exceeding key metrics for revenue, market share growth and channel partner onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity details through Sales Force – SFDC.
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base.
  • Participating in Marketing Activity like Webinars, Exhibition, Seminar, Conference and other
marketing campaigns.
  • Support the maintenance and development of a customer base to position VWTS / VWT Products
and Services to maximize win rate.
  • Provide Technical training, input to Veolia Water Technologies zone Sales teams and Channel
Partners, customer troubleshooting, value generation and value selling at customer site.
  • Learn and maintain awareness of all safety and environmental practices.
  • Travel within the sales territory as required.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) or Science, or equivalent from an
accredited university or college.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Energy, Oilamp; Gas (Produced Water and/or Wastewater Treatment) or
related industry.
  • OEM / process equipment industry experience preferred.
  • Job Location: Canada or US - Partial home office / partial at office location to define depending on candidate.
  • Training on technology and regular attendance to Poseidon Offices and Factory in Levis, Quebec,
Canada
  • Initial training on Technologyamp; process at EPS offices in Melbourne, Australia and/or Dubai
Useful Skills or abilities
  • Strong oral and written English language capabilities; competency in French (written and spoken)
is well regarded.
  • Business Development, Sales / Proposal Experience in a related industry / sector – Water
Treatment and/or Oilamp; Gas would be well regarded.
  • Demonstrated sales/people skills and/or aptitude with proven sales record.
  • Grounded business acumen and comprehension of aspects of global manufacturing/supply chain.
  • Motivated self-starter with a passion for selling.
  • Successful track record penetrating new accounts and markets.
  • Expertise on Separation technologies is desirable
