Job Description

Position OverviewB & B Climate Care is looking to hire an Office Administrator to join the team as soon as possible. This position is responsible for performing an array of administrative duties including but not limited to posting vendor transactions and reconciling monthly statements, paying vendors, government remittances,answering and directing calls, responding to inquiries, and performing other administrative duties when required. The Office Administrator will also be responsible for processing payroll bi-weekly and assist with human resources and health and safety requirements.Accountabilities:

  • Input all vendor transactions daily and file accordingly
  • Reconciling all month-end statements and paying due invoices by preferred method (cheque, credit card, e-transfer)
  • Reconciling business banking daily
  • Reconciling company credit card statements monthly
  • Input and process payroll bi-weekly
  • Filing source deductions, hst, eht and wsib as per government reporting requirements
  • Courteously answer and direct all incoming calls, personal emails, and office visitors
  • Assist with maintaining and monitoring office supply inventory and place orders as required

Basic Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years experience in Office Administration an asset
  • 1-3 years of payroll processing an asset
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles an asset
  • Experience with Quickbooks an asset
  • Sound knowledge of general human resources practices and principles as well as health and safety an asset
Physical Aspects of Position:
  • Primarily office environment on computer
  • May be expected to travel as needed
