Orillia Optometry is seeking a motivated team player to join our exceptional team as an Office Assistant. Responsibilities will include direct patient care (diagnostic testing and treatment procedures) within our comprehensive Specialty Clinics focussed on dry eye, ocular diseases including glaucoma and macular degeneration, and myopia management. Assistance in other areas of the office, including intake and testing of patients prior to seeing the doctors (pre-test) as well as reception, will also be required. Attention to detail is required due to the clinical nature of the office.Strong verbal & written communication skills, friendly, and able to manage stress while busy will be key requirements. Comfortable with computers and able to learn new software is required. Hours will include Monday through Friday with 1 or 2 evenings per week.
