Job Description

GTA | Kingston |Ottawa | Windsor | London | Barrie | Innisfil | Wasaga Beach |Orillia |North BayTax Manager We are looking for candidates who display strong leadership and management skills!Candidates considered will demonstrate past success in building retail tax businesses, have advanced tax preparation knowledge and skills and a commitment to developing staff, effectively deal with customers and follow all company policies and procedures.Manage all aspects of store operations and report daily to the corporate office.   • Mentor employee development & manage client relations
  • Ensure tax returns are filed on time and payments are collected and reconciled.
  • Ensure the office is always clean and presentable.
  • Grow the client base and revenue with various promotions and the introduction of other financial products and services.
Requirements:
  • Completed post-secondary program; Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma.
  • 2+ year experience in a management position with tax preparation experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to de-escalate intense situations.
  • Willingness to do shift work, evenings and weekends and cover for absent staff, as required.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures; make day-to-day operations decisions.
