Job Description

MATRIX is a national company providing camps, logistics, and aviation management services to a diverse range of clients in the resource and service sectors. Our commitment to safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness sets us apart in the industry.Reporting to the Controller, the Junior Finance Clerk provides support to all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.The successful candidate must be adaptable, a self-starter and detail oriented. This position requires QuickBooks experience, solid Excel skills and a proven track record of experience working in Finance. The Junior Finance Clerk performs a wide range of duties including some or all the following:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Invoicing
  • Assist with the month end closing process
  • Month end reconciliation working papers
  • PST GST reporting
  • Accounts Payable processing and reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Credit Card reconciliations
  • Assist with other period end tasks
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Strong knowledge with Excel
  • QuickBooks expertise strongly desired
  • Focused, accurate, articulate, and detail orientated
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and be a self-starter
  • This is a 100% office-based position, the successful candidate must be willing to reside in Osoyoos BC.
BenefitsMatrix offers a competitive Base annual salary of between $45,000 and $60,000.
