Job Description

MATRIX is a national company providing camps, logistics, and aviation management services to a diverse range of clients in the resource and service sectors. Osoyoos is our National hub for northwestern Canada supporting mining exploration camps with expediting, people movement, and supply chain services. MATRIX prioritizes safety and efficiency in serving our clients.MATRIX is currently seeking a talented and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Osoyoos, BC. The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the coordination and execution of logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials to our clients #39; worksites.Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the coordination and scheduling of shipments and deliveries, ensuring adherence to deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
  • Purchasing - issuing purchase orders
  • Quality Control, conduct inspections on camp assets as they come in from the and assist in the laydown yard with camp asset staging and preparation for deployment.
  • Completing Safety Minutes and participating in safety meetings and action items.
  • Work closely with purchasing to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Prepare shipping documents and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve efficiency and streamline logistics operations.
  • Provide support to the Logistics Manager as required.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Experience with inventory management and tracking systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Valid driver #39;s license and the ability to travel as required.
  • Experience driving pick up trucks with trailers of various sizes.
  • Knowledge of remote camp operations is considered an asset.
