Job Description

Matrix Camps, Logisticsamp; Aviation Management is seeking a team oriented, self-motivated person with superior attention to detail, for a full-time Operations Scheduler role located in our Osoyoos BC office location. This position will work hand in hand with both our travel coordinator, and payroll to ensure that our remote project and field staff are deployed, and billed, accurately and efficiently. This position is the key role in employee scheduling for multiple projects and camps. The job will entail preparing, organizing and maintaining work schedules for employees to ensure the required/appropriate number of personnel or staff are on duty for every required work project or shift. This is a busy, and challenging role, which requires the incumbent to be able to work a flexible schedule if required, to meet the needs of the business. Responsibilities:

  • Developing and entering daily, weekly and monthly schedules (on employees) verifying the work-hours of every employee and verifying vacancies that may exist in the company.
  • Develop, maintain and update work schedules and re-allocate employees to different positions and/or shifts.
  • Take responsibility for leave requests from employees and general work timekeeping (scheduling).
  • Work closely with the Payroll and Travel Coordinators to maintain time keeping and scheduling accuracy.
  • Work closely with HR and Recruiting to identify any existing, or upcoming vacancies in the operations schedule.
RequirementsRequired Education, Experience,amp; Certification
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated past experience as a Staff Scheduler, Project Coordinator or Project Manager role within the mining/heavy civil construction/ oilamp; gas industries are required.
  • Extensive knowledge of crew scheduling for remote camps is highly desired.

Competitive annual salary between $55,000 and $75,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
