The expected compensation for this position is $18-$19 per hour, considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications. Base pay is just one component of our overall Total Rewards offering. You will play a critical role within FYidoctors by delivering world-class service to our patients. As our newest Optical Associate you will be responsible for the retail and repair of eyewear products as well as follow-up care. Join us in advancing eye health and enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic and rewarding environment. This position is a full-time, permanent role working up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. What Will You Be DoingEducating clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best in value and quality Informing patients about advances in corrective eyewear solutions as well as assisting with the selection of frames to suit your client #39;s aesthetic and performance needs Performing frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear and performing repairs and adjustments to returning patients #39; Contributing to store retail sales goals Upholding excellent customer service standards using your charisma and problem-solving skillsWhat Do You BringMinimum one years’ experience in an optical environment Previous experience in a customer-facing role, retail environment preferred A high level of comfort using technology and computers with solid proficiency in MS Office Suite A great communicator who can provide exceptional patient careLocation: Our wonderful clinic is located in the picturesque town of Osoyoos, BC, in the South Okanagan region which is just minutes away from the Canada/United States border. From within the clinic we have gorgeous lake and mountain views from every window. We are one of the most beautiful places in Canada with very mild winters and have plenty of outdoor activities including golf courses, hiking trails, skiing, and swimming.
