Job Description

Drake International has partnered with a Public Accounting Firm located in Ottawa East. We are hiring bookkeepers with 3 to 5 years experience working for a Public Accounting Office.Our client is looking for individuals who have experience with Full Set of books for corporate clients as well as personal taxes. The chosen candidates will be member of a team committed to providing quality services to the community.What you do:

  • Responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyse financial information
  • Entering financial transactions
  • Verifying the accuracy of bookkeeping software
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements
  • Ensure appropriate accounting control procedures
  • Performing personal income tax returns
Who you are:
  • Strong organizational skills, time management and finance background
  • Ability to prioritize and accomplish urgent tasks in a timely manner
  • 3 to 5 years experience in a Public Accounting Firm
  • Proficient computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft EXCEL and QuickBooks
