Job Description

Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Consulting Inc. (RCGT CI) is looking for an experienced bilingual Case Manager. This position requires claims management and adjudication experience, working medical knowledge, and technological know-how to support the customers and clients of RCGT Consulting. The Case Manager will be directly responsible for overseeing and executing the successful operations of his or her program. This individual will provide professional expertise and monitor performance to ensure that objectives are achieved within scheduled timelines and budgets.Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute operations on claims management process
  • Gather information from applicants needed and validate their contents
  • Ensure all applicants receive a fair and data driven assessment that is consistent with defined process and eligibility criteria
  • Provide applicants with information about the program and case status
  • Utilize case management software to administer cases, record case notes and provide records management of case information
  • Review program performance and ensure objectives are met, and lead and implement corrective actions when needed
  • Manage all administrative processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policy, procedures and applicable regulations
  • Create and update assigned reports as required
  • Chair assigned meetings with medical experts panel, create agenda, and take minutes
  • Maintain assigned records and databases
  • Maintain a productive working environment with all staff
  • Perform other duties as necessary
Mandatories
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • 5+ years of experience in health claim adjudication/health claim program including injury causality assessments
  • Extensive experience determining eligibility for complex benefits/services, or managing a claims team, or adjudicating claims, or adjusting involving serious loss and/or complex claims
  • Excellent customer service skills, including proven experience dealing with dissatisfied applicants/customers
Assets
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience as manager or team lead
  • University degree or related certification or claims adjudication training or adjusting training
  • Designation for Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP)
