Duties and Responsibilities:Reporting to the Cash Office Supervisor the incumbent is responsible for receiving and accurately recording payments from students, faculty, departments, staff, and outside agencies on behalf of the University. The incumbent must also ensure the appropriateness of taxes recorded and the maintenance of supporting documentation. Further to these duties, the incumbent is expected to have considerable contact with the University’s students and administrative staff and assist in the formulation of new policies and procedures as they affect cash operations. The incumbent also identifies areas of exception to policy or non-compliance to (HST) legislation in relation to revenue and/or revenue recognition and/or general opportunities for training to the user community.Qualifications:The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:
