Join us to find out how you can be a part of it all!The Opportunity:The Part-Time Concierge is responsible for maintaining best in class customer service with our residents/visitors in the building.Location: 185 Lyon Street NorthWhat You’ll be Responsible for Day to Day:Maintain resident database, which includes, processing changes to residents;Ensure scheduled maintenance plans for property and equipment are assigned to personnel so that they can be completed on a timely basis, reviewing concerns / issues raised during the performance of these maintenance plans with management to pro-actively address concerns / issues thereby minimizing unplanned downtime;Perform all facets of the job in accordance with the legislation applicable to the jurisdiction, including: Health and Safety standards, WHMIS, AODA, PIPEDA and Human Rights;Coordinate access for Minto staff and contractors for occupied and vacant spaces as well as common areas; ensuring proper notice is given as required;Use of the ERP system, SAP, to record information and perform job activities;Supports team goals, objectives, operations and strategy for properties outlined by management;Utilize a computerized maintenance management system and ensure all service notifications, orders and purchase requisitions are input into SAP in an accurate and timely manner;Responds to all resident related issues promptly and courteously in a professional manner, informing management when applicable and if follow-up is required;Ensures that proper notice is given in advance of entering occupied suites and/or that the resident has authorized entry in advance;Prepare mass and individual resident communication, for example, upcoming events, repairs, changes to management, etc.;Greets, acknowledge and welcome arriving and departing guests;Demonstrates good listening skills, asks questions to clarify;Screens and co-ordinates access for visitors, contract and service people;Maintains up to date and accurate information on current events, local services and attractions;Receives and coordinates deliveries for guests;Books meeting rooms when required;Maintains coffee station in lobby;Assign parking passes and administration of this;Assists guests with luggage, parcels etc.;Accepts laundry/dry cleaning from guest and ensures it gets processed;Monitors all video, alarm and communication systems;Monitors premises to ensure building is safe and secure;Performs and carries out emergency procedures as required;Verifies all visitors prior to entrance;Monitors traffic outside of building, entrance and garage ;Maintains log books of activities, maintenance requests, problems and key distribution;Ensures front desk/work area is neat and tidy at all times;Reports complaints and service breakdowns;Reports all guest comments and suggestions;Ensures Minto Customer Service Standards are implemented at all times;Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.Who we’re looking for:Education: High School is an asset.Experience: A minimum of one to two (1-2) years of work experience is required.Skills, Knowledge and abilities:Flexible scheduleBilingualism is an assetAbility to influence without authority / Directing othersInterpersonal skillsAbility to multi-taskEffective Communication skills- listening, written and verbalCustomer Service orientedCollaborative and Team PlayerMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), OutlookProblem Solving skillsGood JudgmentInitiative and creativeAttention to detailKnowledge of SAP considered an assetMinto is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible environment.
