This individual will be a key member of the Canadian Legal and Contracts team ensuring alignment with global policy and legal compliance. We need a meticulous and confident professional with the skills and experience necessary to ensure contractual obligations are met and files are managed effectively. Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and people skills.The Contract Management portion includes provision of business, contractual and risk mitigation strategy guidance; analysis of new laws, regulations and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives; analysis of significant, complex and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies and procedures; and establishing and maintaining primary contractual interface with customers.The Sub-Contract Management portion includes cultivating potential supplier relationships, preparation, issuance and follow-up with RFQs for large and complex subcontract programs; working with Proposals team on bids including major subcontracting deliverables from OEMs and other key suppliers; leading commercial evaluation of subcontractors’ proposals with a team composed of specialists from engineering, software, project and operational groups; and negotiating subcontract agreements within technical scope, schedule and budget allocation, including flowdown of specific Program Terms and Conditions.Your profile:
