Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to jump start your career in a growing industry!The PositionThe Electronics Technicians’ main responsibility is to set up, repair, and provide maintenance of electronic systems and equipment such as message boards and arrow boards.Main Responsibilities

  • Sets up electronic systems, devices, equipment.
  • Assembles and connects system components.
  • Monitors and reports on project progress and/or electronic challenges.
  • Discusses assembly procedures and problems with Manager, Electronics and draws sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units.
  • Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
  • Tests equipment and circuitry to conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production model.
  • Analyzes and interprets test data.
  • Adjusts, calibrates, aligns, repairs and modifies circuitry and components and records effects on unit performance.
Qualifications
  • G Class Driver’s license
  • Ability to drive (tow) with trailers of all sizes including tandem trailers.
  • Clean driver’s abstract
  • Construction/road experience preferred
  • Ability to comply with all company policies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to use sound judgment
  • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
  • Ability to provide strategic solutions when challenges arise
  • Previous experience as electronic technician or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with electronic testing and circuitry
  • Familiarity working with various tools and equipment
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
