Please Note: If you are a current Algonquin College employee, apply to this job via the Workday application.Department:Fees & Curriculum (Krisha Marshall (Inherited))Position Type:Full-Time SupportSalary Range:$35.39-$41.01-HourlySc heduled Weekly Hours:36.25Anticipated Start Date:November 15, 2021Length of Contract:NAPosting InformationEmployees who are full-time internal candidates, as defined by the Support Staff Collective Agreement, will be given first consideration.Posting Closing Date:October 23, 2021Please note: jobs are posted until 12:01 am on the job closing date.The Coordinator, Fees and Sponsorship provides a wide range of independent support to the College functions including preparing and verifying the fees schedules; ensuring that all program offerings/course offerings are assessed the proper fees; coordinating activities in the Registrar’s Office for fees collection, reconciliation, security and deposit; ensuring the accuracy of sponsorship information and status of sponsored students; ensuring the accurate publication of fees; The incumbent also provides the fees training and support of client service staff, liaising with service and academic areas on fee matters, providing client service to students who have escalated fee related issues, investigating and adjudicating refund exception requests, liaising with the CSD office and their clients on fee matters, contributing to the creation of and administering the Registrar’s Office fee deferral policy and acting as a subject matter expert for IT development.This job requires occasional or regular onsite work in accordance with Policy HS 16Required Qualifications:Minimum three (3) year diploma/degree, in business administration or related field;Minimum five (5) years experience coordinating activities with conflicting deadlines.Have experience working and/or leading in a team environment.The incumbent is responsible for the collection, security and balancing of all student payments taken in the Registrar’s Office therefore a thorough knowledge of cash handling and balancing procedures is required.Progressively senior clerical experience in an independent setting.
