Job Description

Are you customer-oriented and enjoy working with members of the public In this high volume front-line customer service environment, you will have the opportunity to liaise with various clients in processing International Registration Plan (IRP) applications and documents to help ensure road user safety.Position available:

  • 1 temporary full-time unilingual position for up to 6 months with possibility of extension
  • 1 temporary full-time bilingual position for up to 6 months with possibility of extension

  • provide accurate and timely information and customer service when responding to a high volume of enquiries from the public and various client groups
  • process a variety of transactions related to the International Registration Plan (IRP)
  • calculate and collect fees for Ontario, other ministries and other IRP jurisdictions
  • provide professional service to all clients and stakeholders
How do I qualifyMandatory for bilingual position only:You must possess oral French language skills at the advanced level. Your proficiency level will be confirmed before hire.Customer Service and Communication Skills
  • You can deliver excellent customer service and exchange information using tact and diplomacy
  • You can consult with staff to provide accurate information to clients
  • You can effectively deal with customer complaints
Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
  • You have good judgement, problem solving abilities and pay attention to details
  • You can interpret and apply legislation, policies and practices (i.e. Highway Traffic Act)
  • You are able to research, assess and analyze documents for accuracy, authenticity and compliance
  • You can resolve client problems and assist with completion of documents
Financial Skills
  • You can balance revenue and prepare daily bank deposit documents
  • You can calculate and collect appropriate fees
Computer Skills
  • You have data entry skills and are proficient with computer and office software
