Job Description

The IPS Manager will be responsible for IPS specific tasks associated with Canadian Military Programs. The responsibilities will range from IPS deliverables, to repairs and security management.Primary Responsibilities

  • Individual would be responsible for driving the repair process flow from initial customer contact through to invoice and shipment.
  • Site level coordination, communication and networking (RCA, RCI, RCUK, RCD, RCF, etc.)
  • Perform customer communication
    • Respond to RMA requests, provide quotes, obtain customer POs, face with operations/engineering for updates, provide customer status requests, control TAT and assign holds as needed
  • Resolving all key issues related to SAP, PO or FIT
  • Perform all operational tasks involved in the process
  • Issue RMA numbers, receive items into stock, enter information into FIT, assign/add costs, invoice and ship
  • Manage weekly status meeting, track and assign all actions
  • Manage metrics and internal reporting
  • In conjunction with the lead role, performing as the repair OA and repair shipping/receiving function
  • Role and responsibilities of Chief Security Officer and COMSEC custodian role
  • Export/Import support both as an advisory for new products and for export licenses needed for repairs filed through Global Affairs Canada
  • Designated Official for controlled goods
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen
  • Must either hold or be eligible for a Government of Canada Top Secret Level Security Clearance and Controlled Good Access. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
