Emtec is placing an emphasis on quality soft skills, particularly around communication and generating a sense of confidence with new or existing clients.Emtec has a collaborative environment and you are encouraged to work with your colleagues to share your knowledge and learn from others, as well as leverage each other’s expertise when needed.Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop data integration objects and data processing flow using current tools and software;
• Act as the technical lead for initiatives that involve data translation or integration development;
• Resolve highly complex technical data communication and transformation issues;
• Design, test and implement data translation objects (maps);
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to data transformation and flow;
• Analyze customer system and data specifications and provide gap analysis; and
• Create documentation for future reference, training and support purposes.

Workplace: Hybrid model. Currently work is remote. Moving forward there may be onsite in Ottawa with ability to work remotely from home and travelling occasionally when requiredMust Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience working as a Integration Specialist implementing BMC-ITSM projects OR 5+ years ITSM project integration experience and the willingness / ability to complete BMC certification within a 6 week period
• Proven functional skills working on a variety full life-cycle ITSM projects
• Understanding of ITSM technology including but not limited to:
• ITSM applications, administration, and development
• ITSM Server administration, development, and tuning
• Integrating multiple products together in an enterprise architecture
• University degree or College diploma
• Ability/willingness to eventually work onsite at clients in Ottawa, ON Canada

Preferred Skills:

• ITIL v3 or ITIL mastery highly desirable
• Valid Government of Canada security clearance

• Strong ability to manage client relationships
• Excellent problem solving skills, creativity, and insight with the ability to dissolve crisis situations with clients
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Comfortable in front of a technical or managerial audience
  • Ability to lead a workshop or small scale training course
• Excellent written communication ability
  • Creation of quality presentations, white papers, etc
  • Writing the technical grids for proposal responses
• Strong analytical and overall technical skills
