  • Triage incoming requests via a ticket management system.
  • Resolve or escalate requests within L&D’s service level agreement (SLA) window.
  • Complete a Needs Assessment or Training Needs Analysis using EDC’s template and process, as required.
  • Identify the appropriate learning or non-learning intervention to address the customer’s requirements.
  • Facilitate design sessions with various stakeholders, subject matter experts and suppliers.
  • Support the evaluation of the impact of learning solutions on learning transfer, organizational effectiveness, and performance results.
  • A key requirement for this role is to support core team functions by:
    • Maintaining EDC’s Learning Hub SharePoint site
    • Maintaining EDC’s Course Catalogue
    • Managing L&D team SharePoint and network sites
    • Governing file management practices
    • Providing LMS administration support, as required
    • Educating our customers on EDC’s Learning Hub, Course Catalogue and LMS
Screening Criteria
  • University or college degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Learning Technology, or related field.
  • Understanding of Learning theories, principles, methods, and techniques relevant in the field of adult learning and instructional design AND the ability to translate the theories into engaging and effective learning assets.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a learning and development, employee communications or change management professional.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the impact of learning solutions on overall organizational performance.
  • Unwavering commitment to lead by example and be an ambassador of EDC’s culture, diversity, inclusiveness, and equality.
  • Comfortable working on a team embracing growth and agile mindsets and using Agile methodologies.
  • High customer service orientation and excellent client-facing presence and confidence with ability for demonstrating a consultative approach.
  • Highly proficient with Office 365 suite, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Desire to develop proficiency with media-rich and eLearning authoring tools such as Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Basic graphic/visual design skills.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
Assets
  • Strong verbal skills in both official languages (English and French)
  • Strong knowledge of EDC
Salary Range
  • $64,100-$96,100
