Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:Under the supervision of the Mail Room Supervisor, the incumbent is required to support operations for Mail Services and The Print Shop. The incumbent will sort, distribute, and pick up inter-office and outgoing mail on campus; and operate Mail Room equipment for Mail Services. They will distribute Print Shop orders and supplies to campus departments; maintain the paper and toner levels in all CU on the Go printers; respond to service calls for CU on the Go printers, including basic trouble shooting and customer support. The incumbent is also required to perform related miscellaneous duties.Qualifications:The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:

  • Ability to work under stress, while paying attention to detail and maintaining a pleasant manner with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Postal Regulations as well as a thorough knowledge of the campus.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and maintaining confidentiality of all applicable materials. • Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs is required (Please see attached Physical Demands Analysis for details).
Education and Experience:The above is normally acquired through the completion of:
  • Secondary School graduation or equivalent
  • Two years of related experience
