Job Description

The Marketing Communication Manager role at DMD serves as the lead content developer, editor and proofreader for the company. Responsible for supporting the execution and delivery of digital and print content across all channels, playing a key role in the success of sales enablement and marketing campaigns. Will work closely with the Director of Marketing to develop and execute editorial and content production calendars, and to support marketing campaigns. Owns the trafficking and execution of content marketing efforts. Will be an enthusiastic team contributor serving as the go-to resource for writing and communication, and with the ability to balance between structure and flexibility.Candidates will need to supply a portfolio of work and will be asked to complete a skills assessment specific to this role.JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESOversee content strategy and execute on creating and publishing marketing collateral and communications.Identify, write and curate content for DMD’s blog and social media posts, as well as create and oversee the editorial calendar for both.Manage the distribution of content across all channels, with particular focus on blog and social media, and including assisting with social listening.Serve as the lead copywriter and proofreader on DMD’s The Lab Report, a monthly white paper series delivering email thought leadership on trends, insights, innovations and more.Obtain necessary reviews and approvals on all content.Manage the development of sales enablement assets.Write and edit content for product sheets, client guides and onboarding documents and other materials.Assist in the production of client-facing sales presentations.Support and guide product and sales leads through the content development process as they identify materials needed for the company or their teams.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce effective, accurate marketing, product and sales materials.Support other content needs within Marketing and across DMD:Serve as the organization’s “proofreader-in-chief” on an as-needed basisMaintain content inventory, adding new materials when published and assessing relevancy and accuracy of existing, older materialsAssist with copywriting and proofreading for website and landing pages, promotional emails, print and digital advertisements, webinar copy, and other marketing-related assetsMonitor, evaluate and report on competitive environment as it pertains to message and materials.Understand DMD’s place in the healthcare market and serve as a steward of our message and brand identity.Assist with client projects and related deliverables; as needed, copywrite emails and subject lines for client campaignsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES/CERTIFICATES, REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree required5+ years relevant professional experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in AP Stylebook or comparable style guideStrong understanding of Microsoft Office programsDMD Marketing is committed to creating a workplace where inclusion is not only valued, but prioritized.
