We are One House that leverages diversity in all its forms.About the Role:The Carleton Human Resources Services is currently looking to staff the Members’ Human Resources Services Coordinator position.As the Members Human Resources Services Coordinator, you support a client-centric team that provides proactive HR advisory services to Members and their staff. Over the course of the 2-year assignment, you will provide project support related to post-implementation activities of the Members Employee Management System and subsequent phases of this project. You are also responsible for supporting the Senior Advisor and prepare reference and communications material, reports, procedures and contribute to the implementation of changes to the client service delivery model to Members and their staff.Position location: Ottawa, OntarioThe ideal person:You have an analytical mind, are a strong problem-solver and comfortable with technology. You are autonomous and able to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders. You have a strong understanding of the intricacies of the Carleton Administration and the services provided to Members and you are able to quickly identify where to find or source information and when to engage partners.   • Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a specialization in a field relevant to the position, and/or an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant experience.
Experience
  • Experience in analyzing options and solutions for client support;
  • Experience in dealing with sensitive client issues and complaints;
  • Experience in producing reference/communications materials, workflows, procedures and reports;
  • Experience in interacting and collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholder groups and partners;
  • Experience using the following tools to gather, review, and track data: MS Excel, SharePoint & MS Teams;
Asset
  • Experience in working with the Members Employee Management System (MEMS);
  • Experience in project coordination;
  • Experience preparing, summarizing, and delivering data findings using PowerPoint;
  • Experience in using Power BI.
CompetenciesCandidates will be evaluated against the Carleton Administration Competency Framework - Specialized Support.OutcomeStaff the position of Members ‘Human Resources Services on a two (2) year determinate (temporary) basis. Ideal start date of January 9, 2023. Create a pool of potential candidates that may be considered to staff future vacancies for this position or for other similar and/or related positions on an indeterminate and/or determinate basis. Consideration may be given to candidates with other linguistic profiles.Essential Information
