Job Description

Bryden Gibson Architects Incorporated (BGA) is a long-established medium size Ottawa firm, with a substantial project base in the institutional and commercial sectors. The BGA office is located in Hintonburg and is a short walk from the new LRT Bayview station and City Centre.We are looking for a dynamic person who has: A High School Graduate with a minimum 2 years of Administrative experience and/or a Post Secondary graduate in the field of administration or architectural field. As an Administrative Assistant to the director of the firm and being a team of architects and technologists.The successful candidate will have: · Strong verbal skills both in English and French.· Strong organization.· An ability to work as part of a team in assisting in all administrative duties and responsibilities required to complete a project.· An ability to multitask in a busy work environment and be a doer without second guessing.· A respect for the team and a high level of confidentiality.· Proficient knowledge MS Office (Outlook in particular, Word, Excel). Knowledge of StatsLog would be considered an asset, but not mandatory.· Familiar with email scheduling tools, like Team Meetings and Zoom.· High attention to detail and problem solving.· A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvementsTraining and support will always be provided by the office team. Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $16.00-$18.00 per hourAdditional pay:
