Job Description

Title: Order PickerVariation: Packer, Pallet jack, Warehouse worker – packaging.Are you looking for Order Picker work in OttawaDo you have any warehouse experienceWe’re hiring Order Pickers in Ottawa east-end with at least one year of experience. It’s a permanent opportunity with –1. evening shifts starting 4pm – 12:30 am.2. Sunday, Tuesday and Friday OR Sunday, Thursday and Friday3. Additional days, depending on client needs4. Ideal position for StudentsReporting to Warehouse Manager, the responsibility will include

  • Picking items and place on skids
1. Ability to lift 50 – 70 poundsOur client is one of the largest Produce Warehouse in Canada. They offer a great work environment and team atmosphere.What we offer:

What you do:1. You are provided with an order form2. You will then be picking the produce on you form and packing it on skids3. Once the order is completed, you will wrap the skids to prepare for shipping to stores4. It is important to properly stack your produce on the skids and to wrap properly to ensure they stay intact during transportation5. You will be trained on an Electric Pallet Jack which will be used to transport your skids around the warehouse6. Some areas of the warehouse are refrigerators, therefore, you must be warmly dressed7. Efficiency, accuracy and speed are key to be successful in this positionWho you are:1. Ability to lift 50lbs2. High school degree or equivalent3. Clean Criminal record4.
