Job Description

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Part-Time Room Attendant!$16.08/hr during 3 month probationary period.$17.86/hr following completion of probationary period.Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning tile floors, vacuuming and emptying trash
  • Cleaning, disinfecting and polishing bathroom fixtures, surfaces, tile walls and appliances
  • Strip and make beds, changing bed linens
  • Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges and shelves
  • Replenish all amenities, linens and supplies in guest room
  • Ensuring linen closets and housekeeping carts are neat, clean and tidy at all times
  • Responding promptly to all requests by guests and employees
  • Informing managers of maintenance deficiencies, low supply levels and missing amenities
  • Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with Health and Safety regulations
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned
  • Sort all linens and treat stains, load all laundry into washers and dryers, folding of linen, must be able to work in fast paced environment with little supervision
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a hotel Room Attendant considered an asset
  • Available to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends and holidays)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and positively with guests and co-workers
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch on an ongoing basis to fulfill job task
