Job Description

Business Development & Pre-Sales LeaderAs a Business Development Leader you play a critical role leading our go-to-market strategy, working closely with customers to develop and showcase solutions for Canadian broadband service providers including telcos, Cable/MSO and new entrants to broadband service delivery.Key responsibilities:

  • Architect technical solutions and articulates value proposition for Fixed Networks technologies, products and solutions
  • Formulates strategy, positions solutions and guides business lines to address opportunities
  • Drives opportunity development
  • Performs market analysis, monitoring competitive activity, and identifies customer needs and market trends
Your skills and experienceYou have:
  • A Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with Business Management experience
  • At least 25 years professional experience in telecom industry
  • At least 15 years experience in a technical presales/sales environment
  • Demonstrated communication, consultation, and business modeling leadership to guide executive level decision makers regarding technology decisions, network evolution and transformation strategies
  • Technology and Broadband Market knowledge; ideally a blend of knowledge with Passive Optical Networks, In-Home networking, 4G & 5G Fixed Wireless.
It would be nice if you also:
  • Bring industry expertise on access network solutions with an active network of contacts
  • Have ability to transcend cross business unit organizations, building a strong network and lead cross business unit initiatives
  • Are able and willing to travel up to 35% of time for customer / industry engagements
