Operate forklift (counterbalance and sometimes reach lift)2. Operate production equipment (taper-gluer, stitcher, slitter, band saw)3. Follow production plan to ensure on time delivery4. Delegate work requirements to department team members5. Set up production equipment6. Feed corrugated sheets into equipment7. Unitize loads at end of machine8. Create Amtech tags and apply to loads9. Strip scrap from boxes10. Bale scrap / Sweep / Housekeeping / Keep a clean safe working area11. Palletize / Unitize product12. Count at inventory13. Complete Quality Reports and all other required documentation14. Perform all other tasks assigned by SupervisorQualifications1. Must have 2-3 years of experience as a Forklift Operator2. Must hold a valid forklift license3. Must exhibit safe work ethics4. Ability to read and interpret Smith Induspac drawings and specifications5. Technical capabilities to set up and operate production equipment6. Must have basic computer skills7. Fluent with basic measurement devices in Metric/Imperial and conversion capabilities8. Have a positive, engaged contributor style attitude9. Must be organized, detail and quality oriented10. Previous work experience / training / education is an assetNote: As the plant is not served by city transit, its needed that the candidate have a drivers license and a vehicle.The benefits of joining our team1.
