Job Description

Job Summary:The incumbent is responsible for providing high quality housekeeping/laundry services for residents and guests in accordance with regulatory/legislative requirements, and Company policies, procedures and guidelines.Job Duties:

  • Cleans assigned areas, suites, furnishings and fixtures in accordance with establishedhousekeeping cleaning schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) and procedures.
  • Cleans floors, dry mops, wet mops, sweeps, disinfects where and when necessary.
  • Launders resident bedding, towels or personal items, as per cleaning schedule.
  • Reports observations to supervisor concerning structural and equipment wear, defects andmalfunctions, and documents in maintenance repair log.
  • Adhere to all appropriate workplace regulations, compliances, legislation and Companypolicies and procedures.
  • Maintain, the highest standards of professionalism by following the Company dress codeand/or wearing the Company uniform.
  • Participate in all Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Infection Control and related activities asrequired.
  • Attend all staff meetings and mandatory training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
