ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYThe objective will be identifying insights, best practices and implementing performance programs that significantly increases sales results with a focus on measurement and continuous improvement. Additionally, this role will have a focus on reviewing, understanding and presenting performance results in a way that identifies actionable insights.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ongoing refinement and updating of job aids, scripting and competitive insights grids to enhance sales performance
  • Conduct sales research to assess skill levels including mystery calling, competitive calling, call listening, sales rep focus groups and QA and reporting analysis
  • Work with People & Culture’s training team to develop a skills analysis and progressive training program
  • Support product launches and new offers by preparing and enabling the sales force to understand and sell our solutions
  • Continuous focus on incentives to drive behaviour; develop regular theme-based Spiff programs that have high engagement and incremental lift, measure and report on ROI
  • Working with the Planning team to ensure the development of automated reports covering rep, team, brand sales, sales mix, KPIs, costs, relative to targets
  • Interfacing with People & Culture, to help support sales rep recruitment efforts onshore
  • Work with the Sr. Manager, Sales and People & Culture to create an onboarding program that expedites the new sales rep’s integration into the team and accelerates the performance timeline
  • Interface with Product and Marketing with insights and asks for upstream tactics that support sales success, including offer constructs, advertising positioning and customer targeting
  • Support developing a best-in-class online sales engine
  • Work closely with sales operations and marketing to ensure strategic alignment across both functions
  • Support managing the prospect experience including IVR design and sales queuing strategies
  • Manage various sales enablement projects and coordinates sales enablement activities
  • Measure performance of all programs with a focus on continuous performance improvement
  • Provides daily, weekly & monthly sales volumes updates and maintains the ongoing report of these
  • Support the accurate completion of the executive weekly & monthly reports
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bilingual French/English a strong asset
  • Effective leadership capabilities which help establish Sales & Marketing as a valued resource within the organization
  • Extensive knowledge of sales enablement technologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of modern sales methodologies, sales process, and buyer’s journey alignment.
  • Expert ability to consult or provide guidance on complex matters to non-specialists; ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
  • Expert ability to collaborate and generate a spirit of cooperation while coordinating diverse activities and groups within a team environment.
  • Passionate and committed to operational excellence and employee engagement
  • Demonstrates good judgment
  • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills including the ability to effectively convey information to a wide variety of internal and external audiences

  • Interacts with all levels of the company, partners and customers both internal and external
  • Establish effective relationships and credibility with Product Marketing, Care, Network, Operations and Engineering groups
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Have 3+ years of cross-discipline marketing experience in the telecommunications or similar services/recurring revenue-based industry
  • Strong experience in sales call centre environment
  • Detail oriented with strong analytic skills at measuring program effectiveness and ROI
  • Solid background in both strategy and execution of sales performance programs and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Be a strong digital citizen
  • Be analytically inclined, understanding what data means and how to apply it to identify opportunities and solve problems
  • Know what it means to ignite a sales culture with performance, confidence and motivation
  • Have a passion for organization and the details
  • Leverage the broader organization to make new initiatives successful
  • Have the ability to manage multiple projects with lots of moving parts
  • University degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing
  • Familiar with a variety of sales concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Experience preparing and communicating plans to senior management teams; you can confidently communicate the business value of your plans and how they will be measured
