Job DescriptionThe House of Commons Digital Services and Real Property is currently looking to staff a Senior Information Management Analyst.As the bilingual Senior Information Management Analyst for the House of Commons (HoC), you will play a pivotal role in aligning the HoC #39;s information management program to HoC strategic priorities and goals. This role involves providing support to and collaborating with information stewards, across the House, to govern and manage structured and unstructured information throughout its lifecycle. You #39;ll also work closely with information custodians during product development lifecycle, ensuring data integrity, protection at rest and in transit, and overseeing internal and external data use and sharing.Your responsibilities encompass developing and implementing enterprise-wide policies, processes, training and guidance associated to information management capabilities. These capabilities span information architecture, information lifecycle management, information security, privacy, information sharing and quality management, metadata management, information literacy, document and content management as well as knowledge management. More specifically, you will provide advice on these capabilities and their associated tools such as electronic document management system, HoC Data Catalogue and Business Glossary as well as knowledge management system; perform information, risk and compliance assessment on business processes or products; support HoC Information Governance bodies; broker information sharing terms of use and agreements; manage information breaches, risks and issues and build awareness and promotion. Additionally, your role involves strategizing, evaluating, and reporting on the House of Commons #39; information management program performance and maturity to ensure efficient information resource management and utilization.
