Duties and Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Community Outreach Liaison will play an integral role in connecting with, and outreaching to, neuro diverse Canadians and autism community organizations and supports, about all project-related events, activities, and research being conducted for the three year Sinneave project as outlined and agreed to in the service agreement. They will work with the project team to ensure that voices of autistic Canadians are infused into the project, informing it at various stages and levels. This will include connecting with organizations across Canada, brainstorming potential collaborations or opportunities and methods for engagement.Qualifications:The incumbent must possess the following qualifications: Ability to synthesize information from a shared vision and communicate it effectively to others Ability to adapt curriculum to meet the needs of a diverse audience Demonstrated knowledge of accessibility and accessible practices in a post-secondary student services environment Experience with knowledge mobilization in an online learning environment Proven ability to produce engaging and effective content including knowledge of content design tools Excellent multi-tasking and time management strategies with ability to produce high-quality deliverables with short deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Integrity and professionalism Bilingualism is an assetEducation and Experience:The above is normally acquired through the completion of: Completion of a bachelor’s degree in an education related field Minimum of four years of previous online digital content development, curriculum design and learning and development for adult learnersHR Note:The Sinneave Community Outreach Liaison is a full-time term non-union position due to the project funding granted by the Ministry. The start salary will be $57,706, with a total compensation package that includes competitive extended health and dental benefits, generous annual and sick leave.Equivalencies will be considered.
