For a more technical view, check out our Behind the App feature on the BigCommerce Developers Blog.We care about honesty, we believe in learning from our mistakes, and we support each other as we grow.About the JobSMB Account Executive will focus on new business and cross-selling Rewind’s SaaS portfolio. In this quota-carrying role, you will prospect for new accounts and ultimately convert them into paying customers. We are looking for self-starters with outbound skills for mapping out key accounts in your category and creating a strategy to execute and close the business. This role combines cold calling, personalized outreach, and strategic planningYour responsibilities include:

  • Leads efforts for identifying opportunities and growing revenue and new SMB in North America and Europe
  • Help businesses discover and explain ways they can secure and optimize their development by using our software
  • Master technical features of Rewind products (ecommmerce, accounting, software developer) being sold
  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship with firms
  • Conduct product and value proposition demonstrations to a broad audience of decision-makers including senior management for potential new customers
  • Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions in a CRM
  • Maintain and cultivate a consistent book of new business in your sales funnel
  • Develop a key understanding of growth in new accounts to help develop our land and expand strategy
  • Working with Rewind senior management to develop the relevant account strategies and engagements to drive pipeline growth and close deals within agreed timelines
About YouTo be successful in this role, you should have 2+ years of experience in a quota carrying role including the data to back-up your success - include in your resume or application the quotas youve held and exceeded in the past!You should also have:
  • CRM knowledge and experience with online prospecting
  • Great communication skills. We are looking for someone who is articulate, persuasive and a passionate communicator
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, and an ability to interface to senior levels of an organization and develop productive C-level relationships
  • High EQ - you enjoy building relationships, you value collaboration, and have a good sense for others motivations
  • Proactive and motivated about reaching out and following up
