We are seeking a dynamic, committed IT professional to join our team:Team Lead - Security and Identity$73,757 to $95,176Reporting to the Team Manager for Security and Identity, the Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the goals and plans of the Security and Identity Division are achieved in such a way that all established success metrics are met, including communication of security policies and practices to ensure IT and end-user awareness, understanding and adherence.The Team Lead promotes a culture of security and risk management within the organization by implementing appropriate processes, content and communications; Directs and coordinates the implementation of security controls and compliance requirements across the District; and Directs and mentors a team of specialists and analysts in the completion of project goals, while ensuring continuous improvement and implementation of security related processes, technologies, and cultural behaviors in order to mitigate cyber risk and implement an information security management program.Candidate ProfileUniversity degree in computer studies or a three year related community college diploma or equivalent; and at least 7 years of experience in information security and/or information security operations. A combination of education and experience may also be considered;Certifications in CISSP, CISM, CCDE or equivalent;Thorough knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies, information security frameworks ( such as NIST, ISO, CIS ), information security controls, their applications and deployment methodologies, and cybersecurity incident response and investigation processes, procedures and frameworks;Knowledge of Security Operations, Security Assessments and Testing, and Security Risk Management.Knowledge and understanding of information security processes, procedures and technologies within the Security Operations, Security Assessment and Testing and/or Security Risk Management practices;Strong leadership and project management capabilities to coordinate multiple tasks, projects and initiatives amongst the Security and Identity Team;Written and verbal communication skills required; as well as excellent interpersonal, managerial, time management, problem solving and organizational skills required.Application Process :The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board uses Apply to Education (ATE) to manage job applications for all competitions.
