Traducteur(-trice) de langlais vers le français canadien - Secteur gouvernementalLe traducteur ou la traductrice - Secteur gouvernemental traduit de langlais vers le français canadien des documents dans le domaine des finances pour des ministères et des organismes fédéraux. Le ou la titulaire du poste doit sassurer de la qualité linguistique de ses projets et avoir une très bonne méthodologie de recherche terminologique. Les textes à traduire sont à échéances de livraison serrées et toutes les traductions se font à laide doutils daide à la traduction dans un environnement entièrement informatisé. Il sagit dun poste permanent, à temps plein (37,5 heures par semaine).Ce role est en présentiel, à nos bureaux à Ottawa, Ontario. Vous travaillerez sur de la documentation protégée B.Ce que vous ferez

• Traduire de langlais vers le français canadien des documents financiers
• Réviser des traductions générées par un moteur de traduction automatique (postédition)
• Effectuer des recherches terminologiques et répondre aux exigences des clients

Pour réussir dans ce posteRequis

• Baccalauréat en traduction de langlais vers le français canadien obligatoire
• Parfait bilinguisme anglais-français et maîtrise des particularités du français canadien
• Minimum dun à 2 ans dexpérience préférée dans un des domaines suivants :
  • Fiscalité
  • Droit fiscal fédéral et rédaction
  • Droit commercial
  • Lois, règlements et statuts

They must ensure the linguistic quality of their work and use a very good terminological research methodology. The texts to be translated are generally short, the deadlines are tight, and all translations are done with the help of translation tools in a fully computerized environment. This is a permanent position, full-time (37.5 hours per week).This role is onsite, à our offices in Ottawa, Ontario. You will be working on Protected B documentation.What You Will Do

• Translate a variety of texts from English to French Canadian
• Review translations generated by an automatic translation engine (post-editing)
• Conduct terminology research and respond to client requirements

To Be Successful You Will HaveRequired

• Bachelors degree in translation from English to Canadian French required
• Perfectly bilingual in French and English and mastery of the particularities of Canadian French
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience is preferred in one of the below fields:
  • Taxation
  • Federal tax law and drafting
  • Commercial law
  • Laws, regulations and by-laws

Assets

• Reliability status or Secret clearance from Public Works and Government Services Canada
• Certification from a professional translation association (OTTIAQ, ATIO or CTTIC)
