Are you inCome, and be where it begins.Our Exciting OpportunityWe are looking for a highly motivated Hardware Verification Engineer to join our Environmental Verification Team working on state-of-the-art cellular base station radio equipment products intended for global market deployment. Your primary role would involve planning and execution of verification tests, measurements and documentation for Robustness and Reliability requirements to support the dynamic and fast-paced radio business. Testing is executed in internal and external high-tech lab environments using both automated and manual methods. This role will also include ongoing development, support and optimization of the test environment which includes support equipment, radio interface, software and communication links.You willWork in close collaboration with Systems, Design and Verification colleagues to plan Robustness and Reliability test cases to improve product qualityLead a team to execute Robustness and Reliability testing, contributing to the testing yourself directlyFormal documentation of test plans and test resultsHelp to maintain and enhance the Hardware Verification Lab environmentMaintain positive professional relationships with our external lab partners to enable successful testingTo be successful in the role you must haveEducation: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)Minimum 5 years HW development or verification experience, preferably some in reliability testingGood understanding of 3G, 4G and 5G wireless communications technologiesBasic knowledge on radio product designExtensive hands on experience in the lab using RF test instruments (Keysight, R&S, Anritsu)Good knowledge of Linux/Unix environmentExperience with Matlab, Labview and Java would be an assetStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsGood time management, prioritization, and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent English communication skills, both oral and writtenGood documentation and report writing skillsWhat´s in it for youHere at Ericsson, our culture is built on over a century of courageous decisions.
