  • Develop, test and maintain software packages for distribution to users #39; desktops, troubleshooting and resolving problems as they arise.
  • Maintain effective local documentation, including standard operating procedures, best practices and methodologies for application packaging.
  • Develop and maintain skills in Microsoft Windows and software packaging technologies, including assessing how they can be deployed in existing departments or developed in new departments.
  • Contribute to the development of the end-user #39;s IT infrastructure, particularly with regard to applications, by assisting in the development of technical methodologies, best practices, policies, procedures and associated documentation.
  • Contribute to the ongoing selection and management of software, particularly with regard to best practices, policies, procedures and associated documentation.
  • Create application packages in MSI and our internal database.
  • Create deployment plans that mitigate risk, minimize conflict and maximize the level of effort while ensuring a high level of quality.
  • Create partnerships with support teams, ensuring that they are informed of desktop changes and have the opportunity to provide feedback.
  • Identify and select, in agreement and liaison with the requester (following BNC standards), the best method to deploy each requested software taking into account current technical limitations.
Your teamAs part of the Infrastructure and Operations sector, one of the team #39;s main functions is to provide assistance with software packaging (creation, QAT, troubleshooting), deployment on all the Windows systems managed by IT (around 24,000), maintenance, integration and deployment scripting.Our learning-by-doing training programs help you master your craft.   • 4-5 years #39; experience in the field of IT support
  • 3-4 years #39; experience as a packager or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Workstation environment
  • Knowledge of Batch and Powershell scripts
  • Proficiency in Admin Studio (MSI) packaging tool
  • Proficiency in SCCM 2012 and Intune deployment tools
  • Willingness to work outside normal working hours (e.g. occasional weekend deployment and weekly deployment).
