Underwriting is the assessment of risk to set the pricing of our services to ensure we are profitable, they are responsible for the financial and risk analysis for our organization. In this role you will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team that manages the financial profitability of our business. You will have exposure to multiple stakeholders that will move your business, strategy and analysis game to the next level. • Post-secondary education in accounting, mathematics, business, finance or insurance concepts and/or related experience
• Strong technical aptitude - you quickly learn new technology and complex systems, like to know they detail to ensure you know thequot;whole quot; story
• You are a problem-solving master, you understand the end goal and think creatively about how to get there
• Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookups and pivot tables, macros)
• You are an effective communicator - you know how to explain your reasoning and engage others in your recommendations
• Effective analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Bilingualism (English and French) is a requirement of this position
