Job Description

Our team in Montreal currently has an opening for a Bulk DriverYOUR ROLEamp; RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs role in a manner that is reflective of Brenntag #39;s Core Values, within regulatory requirements and company policies, programs and expectations;
  • Ensures a safe work environment at all times, reporting unsafe conditions immediately to Site Management;
  • Picks up and delivers both bulk and non bulk Brenntag Canada #39;s products in a safe and conscientious manner;
  • Keeps the vehicle that he/she is assigned in a mechanically sound, safe, and clean condition;
  • Completes all paperwork such as log books, truck inspection forms, run sheets, bills of lading, etc. precisely and in a timely manner;
  • Works toward meeting business goals and shares successes with others;
  • Makes every effort to support commercial group at all times;
  • Schedules activities such that they are completed in a timely manner;
  • Makes every effort to keep the business informed of results of activities;
  • Completes other tasks and special projects as assigned by the Site Manager/Site Supervisor/ Operations Manager.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Completion of High School Education
  • Clean driver #39;s abstract
  • CRC with satisfactory status
  • Air brake certificate required
  • 2-years experience driving tractor trailers in the chemical industry
  • Holds valid/relevant license.
  • Knowledge and/or training in TDG, WHMIS, Emergency Response, Forklift License.
  • Must have a good understanding of the Highway Traffic Act as it reflects on truck driving.
