You will be responsible for monitoring major structures such as the Olympic Park, the Ville-Marie and Viger tunnels, the REM, the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge and the Bonaventure Expressway. You will carry out inspection, recommend work and take part in additional expert assessments.Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in inspections planning and coordination
  • Perform detailed inspection of various engineering structures, such as road and railway bridges, signaling and electrotechnical structures and other related works
  • Use different access methods (ropes, gondolas, catwalks, etc.)
  • Conduct studies and write technical reports, with photos and sketches
  • Contribute to the realization of additional expertise
  • Partake in load-bearing capacity assessment mandates
Profile
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in civil engineering or construction engineering (welcome to graduates)
  • Experience in civil engineering, structures inspection (asset)
  • Knowledge of Ministry of Transport inspection systems, GSQ, GSS and GSE (asset)
  • Curious, dynamic and organized
  • Team spirit and agility
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
  • Completed worksite safety training (ASP construction card)
  • Valid Class 5 driver #39;s licence
