Job Description

Does managing security incidents hold no secrets for you Are you a pillar to be reckoned with in crisis situations Does growing your teammates and having a positive impact on their work motivate you Then we need you to work with us on the REACT team.With your experience and skills, you #39;ll be a key member of our team in resolving security incidents and making a positive impact on your colleagues #39; work.Responsibilities

  • Act as an expert resource in the analysis and resolution of security incidents.
  • Suggest technical solutions for incident detection and prevention.
  • Issue recommendations to reduce attack surfaces.
  • Provide support and coaching to colleagues to help them progress in their work.
  • Work on the evolution of the team #39;s tools, tactics, techniques, procedures and processes.
  • Assess logs and model threats.
  • Formulate professional opinions and pragmatic recommendations, all in accordance with established standards, rules and guidelines.
  • Assess customer systems, design solutions and implement security technologies.
  • Participate in and conduct threat response intelligence.
  • Be available to respond to incidents outside office hours (paging).
  • Proactively research vulnerabilities and how they may be exploited.
  • Identify and help automate certain tasks
  • Contribute to the management of emergency situations or the rapid resolution of problems that arise.
desired career path
  • Minimum 10 years #39; experience in cybersecurity, specifically in the handling and resolution of cybersecurity alerts, problems and incidents.
  • Outstanding understanding of security controls/mechanisms and threat/risk assessment techniques relating to complex data, application and network environments.
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT amp;CK Framework
  • Proficiency in SIEM and EDR monitoring systems
  • SEC504 certification an asset
  • Knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSSamp; NIST
  • Asset: Security certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP or other professional certifications in DFIR and information security.
  • Ability to produce risk analyses is an asset
  • Strong positive leadership with colleagues
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity incident management processes, extensive hands-on experience in cyber threat hunting, threat intelligence and/or data analysis.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, processing, coordination and collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication, writing and outreach skills.
  • Enjoys and encourages contact with internal/external/user partners.
