Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

  • Installation of walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, using materials such as wood, steel, metal, concrete, etc.
  • Fits and installs window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trims.
  • Construction and installation of custom millwork
  • Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
  • Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layouts and determine dimensions and materials required.
  • Follows establishes safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clear environment.
  • Engages in demolition
  • Engages in inspections of installations
  • Clean ups on worksite debris
  • Tiling experience is a bonus
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Apprentice diploma or higher
  • Able to work independently
  • Must have own transportation
  • Minimum of 3 years experience
  • Strong working knowledge of the job site and safety
  • Safety certification is an asset
  • Willingness to travel
  • Knowledge in residential and commercial carpentry
  • Detail and finish carpentry a strong asset
