Job Description

Warehouse Maintenance TechnicianFor over 40 years Equipment Corps have established ourselves as the leading provider of specialized industrial construction tools & fabrication equipment. Many people who work here have been with the company for many years.We are now looking for the following positionPosition: Warehouse Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Paradise, NLResponsibilities:

  • Safe maintenance, inspection & repair of a variety of rental & customers own equipment including mechanical, electrical & hydraulic equipment
  • Perform Inspection, testing and repair of chain hoists, lever hoists and other lifting devices
  • Shipping and Receiving - Assist in loading and unloading equipment
  • Demonstrate equipment for customers
  • Perform daily tasks in regard to general maintenance of shop and yard
  • Wear proper safety equipment
  • Ensure the health, safety and welfare of all personnel by maintaining a safe work environment, complying with Equipment Corps Health & Safety Requirements
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Mechanical & electrical aptitude including knowledge of tools applicable for job
  • Experience repairing & maintaining equipment and tools
  • Experience working on chain hoists, lever hoists and other lifting devices would be an asset
  • Experience working with offshore, construction and mining equipment would be an asset
  • Must have a team spirit and work cooperatively with others
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Must have superior customer service skills
  • Valid WHIMIS, Fall Arrest & First Aid certificates is considered an asset but not required
  • Valid Forklift Training Certificate is considered an asset but not required
