Part-time Position days, evenings and weekends as neededDuties include but are not limited to: · Maintains building in good condition through preventative maintenance work such as painting, plastering and minor repair work· Participates in occupational health and safety programs including workplace inspections· Change all light bulbs inside and outside building, as well as clean fixtures· Performs minor plumbing repairs· Keep equipment clean and maintained properly· Inspect tools regularly· Repair or replace all tools/equipment as necessary· Keep work areas free of clutter· Return all equipment to its original position· Remove garbage from within the building· Maintains grounds in a clean and well-groomed condition· Moving furniture, including beds (mattresses and box springs)· Shovels snow and performs ice control. Ensures all doorways and emergency exits are accessible· Cleaning carpets and chairs· Assisting with installing/setting up TVs and phones for new admissions including resident internal transfers· Adjusting heat in rooms· Perform maintenance check on generator to ensure it is in working order in case of electrical failure· Responsible for setup and break down of all recreation wellness activities· Foster an environment of engagement, encouragement and safeguard to ensure resident’s well-being is maintained.
