Islandwide Giftware Ltd. is a local wholesale distribution company designing and developing product for sale to retailers across the country. To support our busy Christmas season, we are seeking a seasonal Warehouse Assistant to start immediately.Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Assistant will:· Pick and pack customer orders in an accurate and timely manner;· Conduct their work safely and ensure all policies and procedures are followed;· Check incoming freight/deliveries for packing slip inaccuracies and damage;· Assist with inventory counts and spot checks as required to ensure that inventory levels are reported accurately at all times;· Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse.The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of previous warehouse experience and forklift certification, as well as the following key attributes:· Energetic and enthusiastic work ethic;· Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently to manage multiple priorities;· Excellent attention to detail.The normal schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Some evenings and/or weekends may be required as needed.Job Types: Full-time, SeasonalContract length: 5 monthsSalary: $15.00 per hourBenefits:
