Job Posting DetailsHOURS: Currently Days/Evenings, 8 & 12 hours, including weekends and statutory holidays(Subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:In collaboration with other providers, the Orderly assists with the care of patients under the direction of the Resource nurse, maintains and monitors and distributes departmental equipment and transports patients, specimens and supplies as required. The role works on a rotating shift schedule.YOU HAVE:Grade 12 or equivalentGraduate of a Personal Support Worker/Health Care Aide program from an accredited institution (or an equivalent program would be considered)Current CPR certification requiredMinimum two (2) years recent related patient care experienceExcellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skillsRequires the ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting on an ongoing basisExperience in Emergency an assetExcellent attendance, punctuality and work recordMay be required to work and travel between all hospital sitesSALARY:Minimum: $23.83 per hourMaximum: $24.30 per hourYour community thanks you for considering this role.Joining William Osler now is a chance to immerse yourself in a culturally diverse, collaborative, and innovative environment.
