Job Description

Currently seeking a professional and energetic associate to join our team!If you thrive in a team environment, are able to adapt quickly throughout the day, can handle and appreciate the physical requirements of working in the winery and are excited about interacting with a wide variety of people, this job is for you.* Weekly work schedules will vary, offering approximately 15 to 20 hours.Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service - Assisting customers with in-person and telephone inquiries
  • Recording customer orders and operating computerized cash registers
  • Processing customer wine, monitoring inventory and stocking shelves
  • Cleaning floors, dusting, maintaining equipment and garbage disposal
  • Developing and updating knowledge of products, services and policies
  • Assisting bottlers with the handling of products
Requirements:
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
  • Repetitive moving and lifting of objects varying in weight, up to 50 lbs
  • Standing for extended periods; reaching, climbing, bending, twisting and walking
  • Knowledge of wine and grape varieties is an asset
