Love Dogs We do too!Fire Team K9 Headquarters in Pembroke, Ontario is currently hiring a Daycare Attendant for our busy Dog Daycare.The Animal Care Industry is growing at a phenomenal rate and those in the industry have many choices for a long and fulfilling career. If youre looking for work with animals, were your one-stop shop for your next career!FTK-9 Headquarters is a dog daycare, grooming and training facility with a strong focus on education. We are a non-profit whos mission is to provide Service Dogs for Military Veterans, EMTs, Firefighters and Police Officers with PTSD and other operational injuries.The ideal candidate:

  • is confident around dogs of all sizes
  • can think on their feet
  • loves working outdoors in all weather
  • is calm even when work is busy
  • doesnt mind getting muddy, sweaty or wet
  • enjoys occasional dance breaks and puppy kisses
Your job experience:
  • 2 years of previous job experience
  • 1 year of customer service related experience
  • previous professional experience in animal care, farm work, and veterinary fields will be given preference.
A Daycare Attendants job requires:
  • extensive knowledge about dog breeds and behaviour
  • communicating with clients about their dogs needs
  • cleaning indoor and outdoor spaces
  • physical activity, including standing for long periods
  • ensuring safe and fun play time for dogs
  • available to work Part Time, between the hours of 6:30am and 5:30pm
  • working closely in a team environment with Trainers, Groomers and Daycare Attendants
