The posting closes at 12:01am on the morning of the closing date***This position has a start date of August, 2022 for classes commencing in the Fall 2022 semester.Salary range is $67,221 to $ 116,532 per annum, established in terms of relevant educational qualifications and experience.Under the direction of the Academic Chair, Health and Community Studies, the Professor of Nursing is responsible for facilitating and guiding learning and providing an effective learning environment for all students in the Personal Support Worker Certificate Program (PSW), Practical Nursing Diploma Program (PN) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree Program (BScN). The Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree is a Joint Collaboration between Algonquin College and University of Ottawa.The Professor of Nursing is expected to teach a suite of courses related to the discipline of Nursing in all domains and within the following learning settings: Theory classroom (PSW & PN), Simulated Nursing Skills Laboratory (PSW, PN & BScN).Furthermore, the Professor of Nursing is responsible for facilitating and guiding experiential and work-integrated learning and may be responsible for the advancement of knowledge through research projects under the direction of the Academic Chair, Health and Community Studies.The professional responsibilities include:The design/revision/updating of courses, including:
