These skills have consistently led to your professional success.ResponsibilitiesComplianceYou’ll perform job-site safety compliance inspections including hazard analysis, safe work procedures, written reports and recommendations. You’ll be responsible for monitoring adherence to the company’s safety program by all Penticton Foundry Ltd. employees and subcontractorsTrainingYou’ll research, plan, organize and conduct training programs and seminars for all Penticton Foundry supervisors, managers, office and plant employees with regard to WHMIS, orientation, personal protection equipment, CPR, first aid, fork lift, and any other training related to Penticton Foundry.CommunicationYou’ll maintain awareness of legislation and amendments to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and make recommendations for their implementation. You’ll work with the company’s safety committee to ensure that all safety-related concerns are addressed in a professional manner.Administration and ReportingYou’ll complete accident / injury reports and give them to necessary company personnel and WorkSafe BC. You’ll complete all administrative tasks pertaining to the Health & Safety Program and upkeep of the related software program. You’ll maintain safety supplies and inventory.Return to WorkYou’ll develop and manage a strong return to work program.Requirements
