Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Gas Bar Associate for our Gas Bar located in Penticton, BC.Who we are:Otter Co-op is a diverse and growing organization with locations throughout the Lower Mainland and Okanagan. We currently operate 3 food and pharmacy stores, clothing and hardware, 26 Angry Otter liquor stores, 2 feed mills, 2 bulk petroleum facilities, a feed and hardware store in Pitt Meadows, Angry Otter Tap & Forno, Angry Otter Brewery in North Vancouver, the Highwayman Pub in Abbotsford, 37 gas station/convenience stores and growing. • Provide pump island and sales area product and exemplary service to customers in a courteous efficient manner and within approved programs, policies and procedure
• Perform general housekeeping and maintenance duties
• Complete daily summaries and other paperwork as required
• Operate the cash register and other equipment as required
• Prepare the daily pump and cash reconciliation reports
• Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Previous experience in a convenience store or gas station is an asset
• Previous customer service experience in a retail setting is an asset
• Must have strong math skills, basic computer skills
• Motivation and ability to work in a busy work environment is required
• Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
• The ideal candidate will have open availability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, and late evenings
• Must have reliable transportation as bus is not always reliable for all shifts
• This position is based out of the Penticton Gas Bar, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
• Able to perform physical job duties including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
